Alumagrips offers truly custom, serviceable and affordable aluminum grips for 1911 pistols full size or compact, and ambidextrous, magwell or both. The checkering pattern is engineered to produce excellent purchase whether hands are dry or moist, and it also reduces perceived heat or cold. AlumaGrip products can be autoclaved and/or decontaminated, and finishes are hard anodized for wear resistance. AlumaGrips also offers its Ultra Light and/or Slimline styles. The Ultra Light is within a grain or two in weight compared to rosewood, and the Slimline is one of the thinnest on the market today.
